Hello Lovelies,
So I recently got my hands on the new Maybelline New York the Colossal Kajal SuperBlack eyeliner/kajal.
It says on the cardboard that it came with that i is 2X blacker in 1 stroke in pigmentation, stays on for 16 hours and is waterproof. It also says that it is ophthalmologically tested meaning that it will not in any circumstances harm your eyes.

On the back of the product it gives some characteristics about the product, directions on how to use the product and how to get the ‘Colossal Eyes’. This eyeliner/kajal retails for Rs.300 for 0.35g of product.

The product comes with a cardboard packaging similar to the original Colossal Kajal but it is curved at the bottom. On getting the product out, it has a classic black eyeliner packaging. Very different to the Colossal Kajal which is yellow. Y'all know that I’m a fan of packaging so I did really get attracted to this product.

So as u can see in the above pictures. The pigmentation of this vs. the original Colossal Kajal varies only a little bit. It does have a little more black-ness than the original colossal kajal. On applying this eyeliner, it did not take one stroke for the pigment to get on my waterline. I had to give it 3-4 strokes for some colour to come on my waterline. On the eyelid one stroke was really pigmented. I did apply another stroke because I always with any eyeliner apply 2-3 strokes. So it did apply nicely. No creasing and no tugging on the eye. Although, because I have small eyes(also known as hooded eyes) and I applied a very thick layer of eyeliner, it did come onto my upper lid but you can always take some make-up remover on a q-tip and wipe it out.

So as I was wearing this eyeliner/kajal. The 'kajal’ part only stays for a couple of minutes which for me always an issue. If y'all have any good suggestions for a good-quality kajal, leave the names in the submission box. So back to the review, the 'eyeliner’ part tho stayed on throughout the day and it is really waterproof. It does not crease that easily whereas the original Colossal Kajal use to crease a lot and never use to stay on throughout the day. The only thing that I don’t like about this product which is also a problem with the original Colossal Kajal was that the product gets collected in the tearduct area. Also, at the end of the day when you want to take your makeup off, it doesn’t come off that easily so a little bit of hard work may be required to take it off, other than that it is a really good product.
So now, is this product worth buying? Yes it is. Even tho your paying Rs.130 extra, it is worth it. It stays on throughout the day, does not crease, does not irritate the eye and it just a good product all-in-all.
